Achievements

Achievements (formerly called "Titles") are cosmetic labels you can equip in-game to showcase what you've done, unlocked, or discovered. They're a way to express your progress — or, for the hidden ones, how much of a detective you are.

Most achievements are openly visible, with a clear, stated requirement. A separate category of hidden achievements has no visible requirement at all until unlocked, and instead carries a rarity rating from 1 to 5 stars.

Commands

Command Description
/achievements Slash-command view of your unlocked and obtainable achievements. Offers a Public/Private visibility choice.
/set_achievement Sets your currently displayed achievement from among the ones you've unlocked (autocompleted as you type), or clears it. The bot owner is exempt from the unlock check and may set any achievement in the list regardless of whether they've actually earned it.
!achieve, !achievement, !achievements Chat-command equivalent of /achievements; all three aliases work identically.

Note: this system was renamed from "Titles" to "Achievements" at the command and display level only — internally, the code and its data files still use the old "titles" naming throughout, but nothing about that affects how the feature works for players.

Rarity

Every hidden achievement carries a rarity from (easiest) to (hardest), shown as a star icon that shifts from green at 1-star to red at 5-star. Visible, non-hidden achievements are not rated this way.

The rarity scale is explicitly subjective: it's calibrated around what its sole creator, Ghost, considers roughly "solvable by an average, reasonably educated 8th grader" — not a hard mathematical measure of how many players have actually unlocked something. Because of that, a handful of achievements may play easier or harder in practice than their assigned star rating suggests; the rating reflects Ghost's own judgment call at the time it was assigned, not a community consensus.

Achievement Hunting

Achievement-hunting is a challenge embraced by players determined to unlock as many achievements as possible — especially the rare and mysterious hidden ones. These dedicated players go beyond casual gameplay, diving into hints, obscure references, secret mechanics, and even external clues (like hidden wiki pages or decrypting sites) to figure out how to earn every available achievement.

Whether solving cryptic riddles, chasing down obscure songs, or mastering cryptology, achievement-hunting is a genuine test of curiosity, creativity, and persistence.

Why Hunt Achievements?

  • Show off rare and exclusive achievements that most players haven't seen.
  • Enjoy the satisfaction of solving hidden puzzles and figuring out vague hints.
  • Be among the first to claim newly added or limited-time featured achievements.
  • Unlock fun references, easter eggs, and in-jokes that connect the community.

Tips for Aspiring Hunters

  • Pay attention to clues. Many hints are cryptic or meme-based — think outside the box.
  • Listen closely. Some achievements get hinted at by the bot's owner or other members, if you know to look.
  • Use all resources. Wikis, in-game chat, even external sites might hide the secrets you need.
  • Work together. Sometimes cracking a secret achievement is easier with help from fellow hunters.
  • Act fast. Featured achievements may be tied to timed events, and discovering one first can grant special roles within the Discord server.
