🤡 Fool's Mode

A chaotic, limited-time mode where quite literally EVERYTHING is allowed.

Fool’s Mode is a special seasonal event in Super-Shiritori that activates during April Fool’s. During this time, validation rules are bent, and the bot embraces pure nonsense.

⏰ Availability

Fool’s Mode is only active during a limited window:

  • Start: April 1st, 7:30 AM (KST)
  • End: April 2nd, 10:30 PM (KST)

Outside of this timeframe, all features return to normal behavior. Unless overwritten.

🎮 Core Changes

While Fool’s Mode is active, several core mechanics are altered:

  • Almost anything becomes playable
    • Words not in the dictionary may still be accepted
    • As long as the input contains no spaces, it can often pass
  • 🔁 Validation is unreliable
    • Invalid words will be marked as valid
    • Reactions may differ from normal gameplay

🔎 !i / !info Command Changes

The word inspection command becomes highly unreliable and comedic.

🧪 Validity

  • Invalid words may display as:
    • Valid word (trust me bro)

🎲 Categories

  • Real categories may be replaced with random nonsense such as:
    • "AI Generated"
    • "Japanese Romanized somehow"
    • "Jellyfish Legalese"
    • "Quantum Machanics"
    • "Typoes"
  • Between 1 and 25 random categories may appear

👥 Player Stats

  • Player counts are randomized:
    • Server players: random value
    • Global players: random value

📊 Extra Fake Data

Additional absurd fields may appear:

  • 🗂️ Fake "Source" entries
  • 🙃 Random "Confidence" percentages (can be negative or over 100%)
  • 👥 Fake player claims
  • 📉 "Stats Impact" showing meaningless or null effects

📊 End Game Screen Changes

Game summaries are altered to display impossible or nonsensical statistics.

📉 Dictionary Coverage

Instead of real percentages, coverage is replaced with values like:

  • 1/Ω (-∞%)
  • 1/Ω (NaN%)
  • 1/Ω (-e^π%)
  • 1/Ω (-√-1%)

These values have no mathematical meaning in this context.

✅ /check Command Changes

The /check command behaves differently:

  • All words appear as playable
  • Invalid words are no longer rejected
  • Output messages always indicate success regardless of accuracy

🎲 Core Behavior

    • Words with spaces are still typically rejected
    • Core game flow (turn order, chaining) remains intact

⚠️ Notes

  • Fool’s Mode is purely for fun and does not reflect actual dictionary accuracy
  • Stats and outputs during this mode should not be taken seriously
  • Normal functionality resumes immediately after the event ends
