🟣 Solo Shiritori
Go 1v1 against a learning, unpredictable AI in this personal word chain challenge. It’s just you, your vocabulary, and a bot that learns your style the longer you play.
🔹 How to Start
- Use /soloshiritori → The bot will create a private thread just for your game. → A random starting word will be posted, and the AI will wait for your response.
Solo games do not interfere with multiplayer sessions and can be played anytime — even during another game.
🔹 How to Play
- Each word you submit must:
- Start with the last letter of the previous word.
- Not repeat anything played earlier in that session.
- Be found in the bot’s dictionary (which includes standard words, acronyms, hyphenated terms, and more).
- After your turn, the AI will respond with a word of its own — if it can.
🧠 About the AI Opponent
- The AI starts off at Rookie level — basic strategy, common words.
- As the game progresses, it adapts:
- It learns your playstyle.
- It randomly adjusts its difficulty, sometimes using advanced logic or even niche words.
Think of it as a shapeshifter — you never quite know what version of the bot you’ll get next.
🛑 How the Game Ends
Your solo session ends if:
- You play an invalid word (wrong starting letter, repeat, or not in dictionary).
- You’re inactive for 5 minutes.
- You give up or close the thread.
You can always start a new session immediately after.
🧩 Tips for Solo Mastery
- Use /check before you risk an unknown word — better safe than sorry.
- Trick the AI with short, weirdly-ending words like "xylophone" or "fjord".
- Don’t rely too much on patterns — it learns faster than you'd expect.
- If you lose, don’t stress — solo mode is built to make you better.
